TWOgether DUO

TWOgether DUO already belong to the most distinguished Polish musicians of their generation in Europe. Musicians have played together since 2007 and they have already awarded at prestigious competitions: I prize at VIII International Accordion Festival in Sanok/Poland (2008) and II prize at 45 International Accordion Competition in Klingenthal/Germany (2008).

Artists are studying at Chopin University of Music in Warsaw under the most distinguishes artists and teachers of their specialities: Klaudiusz Baran and Andrzej Bauer.

Both instruments (classical accordion and cello) are unique because of their similarity in creating sounds. This feature enables instruments to produce a brand -new quality of classical music transcriptions. TWOgether duo uses their extraordinary coloristic palette and amazing imagination to play also contemporary music.

Duo realize a few concert programs dependent of place of performance and idea of recital:

Cello’s masterpieces (pieces by Stravinsky, Saint-Saëns and Piazzolla)
Musica pro pace (pieces by Bach, Gubaidulina, Pärt and Piazzolla
Tango! (originally tangos by Rodriguez, Piazzolla and Petersburgsky)
Contemporary music (pieces by Bargielski, Gubaidulina, Takahashi, Blecharz and Yun)
…BACH… (Three sonatas for viola da gamba and b.c.)
